Patricia Perrier

I've always had a passion for sport and dance. In 2004, I graduated as a sports educator in Paris. I gained experience as a fitness instructor and sports coach.

In 2008, I graduated as a teacher and professional dancer in Latin and Afro-Caribbean dance in Paris. That same year, I discovered Pilates. While I'd already accumulated a wealth of experience and skills in the field of body, movement and health, with Pilates everything made more sense.

In 2010, I completed my training with the Set Pilates school in Paris, certifying me in Pilates floor, Reformer and Cadillac. Pilates is inspired by yoga, which sparked my interest in this discipline. I went on to train in Nepal and became a certified yoga teacher with the Yogi-Nomad school. Yoga postures are very closely connected with the movements and approaches of Thai massage. I then move to Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, to complete my 5 levels of certification as a massage therapist.

My last port of call was Montreal, Quebec - a real coup de coeur! I met Ann McMillan, a renowned Pilates trainer in Quebec and the United States. I decided to follow all her courses, which fascinated me. I then decided to fine-tune my training in Hatha yoga and anatomy with my mentor Hervé Blondon, founder of the Satyam school. I'll continue to train all my life. As Ghandi said: "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever".

In Quebec, I've had the wonderful opportunity to open my Pilates and yoga studio, and to offer activities related to what I love: movement, dance, well-being, balance and health. I hope to continue sharing these passions with the people who are inspired by them for a long time to come, and to continue learning with them.

Virginie Manus

Virginie put on her first pink slippers at the age of three at the Salle Pleyel studios in Paris. She began with classical ballet (Stanlova, Tessa Beaumont's classes) before turning to modern jazz at the Jazz Dance Academy.

In her early twenties, she assisted her godfather (a choreographer and dancer) by giving jazz classes to teenagers and choreographing a few pieces for various shows.

She arrived in Quebec at the age of 27 to work with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal. Her role is to help develop the activities of the national dance therapy center.

Virginie then resumed her studies in bioethics at the Université de Montréal's School of Public Health. During her studies, she again became a student at various dance studios, including Studio Équilibre. When Virginie discovered Patricia's barre fitness classes, it was love at first sight! She found the perfect opportunity to combine ballet and barre training techniques with muscle strengthening and work on coordination, mobility and flexibility... with a touch of grace! She then decided to teach this discipline. Attentive to her students, she emphasizes posture and precision of movement, with an added touch of good humor.

Ève Lalonde

Eve graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in dance (interpretation-creation), and has pursued a career in dance, both as a performer and as a rehearsal director. For 20 years, she worked mainly with the Danse Carpe Diem company, Emmanuel Jouthe.

In May 2006, she received her Pilates instructor certification after training with Ann McMillan. A lover of movement, her combined years of dance practice and Pilates teaching have given her a keen eye for the human body, and an ability to communicate with nuance and clarity the "art of moving" in complete safety.

Over the years, Ève has taken part in a number of Pilates workshops, constantly striving to improve her approach and share her latest discoveries with her clients.

Éric Robitaille

An avid sports and arts enthusiast, Eric first studied hotel management, then art and fitness. He first discovered Pilates and its benefits as part of his personal training.

A certified STOTT PILATES instructor in 2008, he teaches this method with dedication and dynamism, and adapts with ease to both female and male clienteles. He has also developed a personalized coaching program, tailored to each individual's specific needs. Eric pays particular attention to each participant, in order to tailor his teaching accordingly.

He is also a professional drummer/percussionist, notably in the JamesParker band, and enjoys a number of sports in his spare time, including skiing, long-distance in-line skating, climbing and scuba diving.

Isabelle Cote

For me, yoga is a vital practice and a way of life, and I have found my vocation in teaching it. A graduate of Yoga Sangha, I'm committed to remaining a student by continuing to improve and learn through ongoing training.

My primary mission is to help people reconnect with their bodies and welcome the present moment, while giving them an experience of meditation in motion.

I want to play a part in their self-discovery and help them to blossom. I love to see the sparks fly in students' eyes. I have a natural facility for developing concrete links with people. I leave more and more room for intuitive and organic movements rather than vigorous alignments, so that participants reconnect with the body in their own way, leaving room for personal exploration in complete fluidity. That said, my teaching respects the tradition and style that must be guided.

Marni Burbela

Marni has been on a journey of self-discovery and transformation for more than a decade.

In 2019, she certified as a Kundalini Yoga Instructor from the Kundalini Research Institute and has been teaching ever since.

Her goal as a teacher is to empower students to tap into their innate wisdom and intuition.

Her interest in consciousness exploration led her to studies in Transpersonal Psychology. She was certified with Grof Transpersonal Training (Holotropic Breathwork) in 2023 after 6 years of practical and experiential work. She is currently pursuing academic education in conventional psychology. Her intention is to tie together everything she has learnt and offer a holistic approach to mental health.

Creative expression, especially through music, is an important part in Marni's life. She writes, sings and produces.

Roberta Arguello

Active in the artistic community, her fields of expertise include drama, dance, singing and choreography. She has many tools at her disposal to offer you an experience tailored to your needs.

Roberta's approach is based on respect for individual limits. In her classes, she will guide you towards a more intuitive understanding of your body and invite you to explore postures in a safe space. Dare to let yourself be guided by the present moment, and you'll see both physical and energetic changes take place.

Justine Collard

A colorful, joyful, effervescent woman who loves life and wants to stimulate it particularly during the early stages of life (pregnancy, birth and infancy). childhood).

She felt this call to animate Life around the age of 35! It was reading a book on Haptonomy - the science of affectivity - that put her in touch with her mandate. It was a turning point in her life, and she left the field of international marketing to embark on her own path... that of a woman. her own path... that of birth.

She also felt the call of Quebec, to embark on her new path, and so left France in 2007. A woman who is close to nature and loves adventure.

Since 2009, Justine has been helping couples bring their child into the world in harmony and with respect for the natural human needs present during the sacred passage of birth. She has accompanied hundreds of couples at birth, both in hospitals and in birthing centers, where she assisted the midwives for 8 years. Justine has put all her energy, determination, commitment, joie de vivre, love and passion into becoming a recognized companion in her specialty, haptonomy.

Her mission is to inspire parents about the physical, emotional and energetic needs of the fetus and the newborn, in order to promote the healthy and harmonious development of their child.

My courses: Hatha Yoga with Lyne St-Roch Yoga for seniors with Carole Morency Continuing education with Hart Lazer Pelvic Floor Yoga: Yoga, breath, and the female pelvis with Leslie Howard Therapeutic wisdom worksho with Doug KellerIt's important to me: Being inspired, organized, connected. Priscilla Regli

In 2013, I obtained my certification as a fitness coach (Can Fit pro) and then in mat pilates.

I really discovered my passion when I started taking Reformer pilates classes. Naturally, I decided to take the Stott training for Reformer pilates.

Today, I've been teaching this method for almost 4 years. It's a discipline I recommend for a strong, balanced body at any age.

Lucile Grangeon

French, living in Montreal for nearly 7 years, eternal optimist and sports lover. I worked for several years in project management in various companies, before starting a professional reconversion in wellness and health.

I've been practicing Pilates for many years, and have seen the benefits of this quiet strength. Pilates quickly became the perfect complement to my sports and active lifestyle. That's what prompted me to push my understanding further and become a certified Pilates teacher.

I've been giving classes since 2021 and I'm continuing to train, because for me the most important thing is that people of all ages stay fit and healthy. I see physical exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle, not a constraint.

For Caroline, for over 6 years, yoga has been more than a form of gymnastics, it's an opportunity to live each moment consciously, to ensure her autonomy on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.

Inspired by the invaluable teachings she receives, she decides to commit herself fully to her practice and to share it with as many people as possible in all simplicity and complicity.

Her teachings in Sono therapy and energy healing also enable her to combine the "medicine" of vibrations with yogic practice based on body and mind.

Marie Miteul

French, living in Montreal for 1 year, I'm in charge of communications and marketing at Studio Équilibre.

I began my school career with a Professional Baccalaureate in Sales, which then led to a BTS in Management.

I then decided to take a gap year and travelled to 10 European countries with a friend. I learned a lot about myself, and when I got back from that trip, I decided to go back to school.

During my school career, my favorite subjects were communications and marketing. I like to create visuals, draw up a strategy, a business plan, and so on.

So I decided to do a Bachelor's degree in Marketing followed by a Master's degree in Digital Communication. Once I'd graduated and the covid crisis was coming to an end, I decided to try my luck in Montreal.

I've always been a sportswoman, practicing a variety of sports from childhood to adulthood: athletics, tennis, hip-hop, fitness, pilates and so on. I was seduced by the Studio Équilibre concept, so it was only natural for me to apply to be in charge of communications and marketing :)

Armelle Berthier

Armelle continues her quest to achieve the maximum in her Essentrics™ practice as well as in her teaching. She felt an immediate affinity with the discipline and challenge that is Essentrics™. In 2013, she didn't hesitate for a moment when the opportunity arose to take the trainings with the method's creator: Miranda Esmonde-White. Armelle completed the Level 1 and 2 trainings to become a certified teacher of this discipline, which she had already been practicing for 4 years.

She is particularly interested in the human body through movement. She wants to contribute to students' well-being and guide them towards a better quality of life. She enjoys sharing all aspects of practice that encourage and promote well-being in the body.

In the heart of a bubble of serenity and well-being, you'll leave with a renewed sense of vitality... and the desire to do it all over again!

Let yourself be surprised by the body movement and power of the Essentrics™ technique!

Pauline Boisset

Originally from the South of France, I've been a sports enthusiast since childhood. Dancing, handball, tennis, running, surfing... every occasion is an opportunity for me to get moving and stay active.

While preparing for a sports competition, yoga presented itself to me as a "recovery" practice. After major injuries forced me to rest, I took the path of yoga and never left it.

Curious to go further in my practice and having just arrived in Canada, I decided in 2021 to train alongside Sylvie Tremblay at the Sangha Yoga Studio, Montreal. I quickly felt the urge to pass on my passion through teaching and to help my students feel better in body and mind.

My aim is to share the warmth, lightness and benefits of yoga through my ocean-like flows (and above all, in a friendly atmosphere). Convinced that yoga is accessible to everyone, whatever their age or background, my greatest reward is to see my students feeling good at the end of a class. The students who attend my classes are a real source of learning and inspiration for me.

Imola Mihalecz

My journey with yoga began in 2017 when I discovered a whole new universe. After enduring heel inflammation for years, yoga helped me get back on my feet. Since then, yoga has become a part of my daily life. It has taught me patience, self-respect, and self-acceptance. Yoga is an endless opportunity for self-improvement, which I've chosen to introduce to others.

In 2018, I completed the Mandala studio training with a specialization in Ashtanga. Since then, I've taught yoga in Hungary and France, enriched by the numerous experiences I've gained from fellow yogis around the world. Subsequently, I moved to Canada in 2022 to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology and to share my knowledge as a yoga instructor on this side of the world as well.

As a future psychologist, maintaining physical and mental well-being is equally important to me. During my classes, I guide you through a flowing practice to find joy and harmony within yourself. By incorporating elements of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, we discover our inner strength through a series of movements. Breath techniques, dynamic flows, and a guided meditation await you if you join my classes.

Ava Nilsson

I've been a dancer for 17 years and I love moving my body in a comfortable, accessible and challenging way without causing discomfort.

I use my barre training every day in every aspect of my life, and I can't imagine what life was like before!

Both my parents love pilates and barre, and it's an honor to share my knowledge with my clients and friends!

When I go to a training class, I want something that challenges me mentally and, of course, physically. With the barre, I've seen results in as little as 4 weeks, and I love being able to share the magic of the barre at Studio Equilibre!

Philippe Edwards

Yoga teacher and musician Philippe is passionate about the correlation between sound, meditation and consciousness. He learned traditional yoga under the wing of Yogacharya Prahaladji at the Sivananda Ashram, where he was formally initiated into the Vedanta tradition.

He broadens his range by learning Yin Yoga with Mélanie Richards as part of a teacher training program. A lover of Indian classical music, Philippe has been taking classical Hindustani singing classes since 2012. He is now pursuing his studies in classical music and sound yoga with the Gundecha brothers, maestros of Dhrupad, a musical style renowned for its deep, meditative aspect.

In addition to teaching at several centers since 2013, Philippe leads Kirtans and chanting circles, meditation workshops, sound yoga and Hatha yoga on the island of Montreal.

Josee Poisant

For over 15 years, Josée's varied career has taken her into many artistic and sporting fields. After the arrival of her children, she fell in love with Pilates, which enabled her to re-establish the desired balance.

Since then, she has chosen to focus all her energy on this discipline and has undertaken her training to become a STOTT Pilates floor and Reformer instructor, as well as her certification as a Total Barre instructor.

Pilates allows her to combine her passions for teaching and physical well-being, and pass them on to her clients in a dynamic, positive and enthusiastic way.

Gabrielle Parent-Trudeau

When she completed her studies, she deepened her interest in yoga by completing her 500hr certification training at Naada Yoga in 2015.

Whether it's yoga or dance, her classes aim to break down body habits and push each individual's potential, safely and with humility. Stéphanie has taught in Montreal, in her native United States, and around Paris, where she lived for five years. She has presented her choreographic work in Montreal, Toronto, New York, Paris and Grenoble, and works as a performer for various Montreal choreographers.

Léa Fournier

I started dancing at the age of 12. It was a real eye-opener, a revelation. I decided to make it my profession! I took a professional training course at Ballet Divertimento, where I obtained my diploma.

In 2021, I decided to leave ballet and turn to Latin dance. I'm now a member of the Alliance Dance Company, with whom I take part in national and international competitions.

My passion for movement and injury rehabilitation has always been present. It was while looking for ways to improve my sporting performance and prevent injury that I discovered Pilates. It was another revelation! I decided to follow Ann McMillan's training in 2023, and I now hold this diploma.

Thanks to this training, I had the opportunity to discover the Équilibre studio and its exceptional team, which I adore!

My wish is to continue learning and training so that I can share my knowledge and passion through my classes :)

Salomé Marques

I've been practicing yoga for about 8 years. I discovered this practice in Paris in a tiny, overheated studio where the mats were stacked on top of each other. At the time, I didn't yet know the whole philosophy of yoga, and I practiced for the good it did me.

It was when I moved here in 2018 that my practice developed and I started training to learn more about the world of yoga. Today, it's an integral part of my daily life. I trained in Vinyasa Yoga in 2021 to deepen my knowledge, then in Yin and Nidra in 2023 to bring another, gentler approach to my teaching. My classes combine fluidity of movement, body awareness and breath in creative flows that navigate between Yin and Yang.

Outside of yoga, I am trained in natural cosmetics creation and am a certified aromatherapist. I give product creation classes and advice on essential oils, which I sometimes like to include in my yoga classes.

Nicolas Wilhelm

A STOTT Pilates graduate since 2016, specializing in reformer, Nicolas is passionate about postural analysis, seeing Pilates as the mathematics of movement.

A jack-of-all-trades when it comes to sport, it was in France that Nicolas discovered Pilates over ten years ago, at the Authentic Pilates Studio in Metz, founded and run by his father, a former top-level sportsman.

Involved in the Quebec sports community, notably with the Association sportive des aveugles du Québec, the Regroupement pour la trisomie 21 and AlterGo Montréal, Nicolas is convinced that Pilates contributes to the physical, mental and social well-being of individuals. For him, health is not just the absence of disease, but a complete state of well-being.

As Joseph Pilates himself said, "Change of condition comes from movement; it is movement that heals." With this in mind, whatever your level of fitness or commitment to sport, Controllogy - the original term for Pilates - opens the doors to a higher level. In this respect, the reformer, an extraordinary machine, has a remarkable effect on the body.

Geneviève Marin

Passionate about sports and movement since childhood, Geneviève started out in artistic gymnastics for several years before turning to swimming. After the Quebec Games, she put an end to her competitive career, but has maintained her training in various ways over the years. Her encounter with Pilates in her early twenties was a turning point, and she fell in love with it.

In 2009, she took her first instructor training course, with the classic Peak Pilates school, covering all apparatus. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge about the body and movement led her to undertake a second training course in 2011, this time with Polestar Pilates. In 2012, she obtained her TRX instructor certification, then in 2013, she followed up with further training in Yoga Hatha, under the tutelage of Marie-Daphné Roy and David Flewelling. As a result, she began teaching Pilates, Yoga, Yogalates and TRX, both in group and private classes.

A few years later, eager to offer a service of excellence and to continue deepening her skills, in 2014 she completed an advanced yoga training with Hart Lazer. This training introduced her to a more therapeutic approach to yoga, perfectly in line with Pilates principles.

Whether in group classes or individual sessions, Geneviève pays particular attention to each student, ensuring that everyone feels well cared for and supported throughout their practice. She considers it a privilege to help awaken body awareness and breath control in individuals. Her intention is to continue sharing her passion for many years to come, while constantly keeping abreast of new discoveries and knowledge about how the human body works.

Calista Fong

Calista is a fully certified Polarstar / NPCP Pilates instructor (Pilates floor & Pilates reformer) Looking for a cure for her chronic back pain, resulting from a sedentary job, she tried everything - but it was Pilates that truly transformed her physically and provided her with mental satisfaction.

In 2017, she completed the ''Polestar Pilates Instructor'' training course in Hong Kong and became a certified Pilates instructor. After these years of teaching, she found her interest in offering a wide variety of exercises to make the course more complete for students to practice at home.

During her three years volunteering in retirement homes in Ottawa, Calista learned how to be a good listener to the "golden population" (Baby Boomers) and how to respond precisely to their needs.

By the end of the ISP (Injuries & Special Population) course by STOTT Pilates, Calista is more confident and better equipped to care for clients in their post-rehabilitation phase.

Calista is convinced that Pilates exercises strengthen the deeper intrinsic muscles of the core and improve body balance. She wants to share her passion for Pilates with her students.

Vaiana Rouablé

Passionate about dance, Vaiana began a dance-study program at college in France. However, three years later, her studies had to be interrupted due to scoliosis. She then devoted herself entirely to her studies and obtained a master's degree in tourism management. She subsequently worked in the hotel industry in California, French Polynesia and Paris.

In 2013, she decided to move to Montreal, where two years after her arrival, she discovered the Essentrics technique. She instantly fell in love with this therapeutic discipline, created by Miranda Esmonde White, a former Toronto Ballet ballerina who has evolved as a sports coach. Essentrics rebalances the whole body through dynamic stretching. The fluid movements help to lengthen and strengthen muscles. This method plays an essential role in relieving pain, improving posture and freeing up joints.

Vaiana began distance learning to become an Essentrics instructor and achieved Level 3 certification in 2020. After returning to school in 2021, she now works in the translation industry. She enjoys the balance of practicing Essentrics alongside her translation career.

Driven by her passion for movement and physical activity, Lorena arrived in Montreal in 2016 to pursue her studies and earn her degree at the Montreal Temporal Dance School. It was during her dance studies that she discovered a strong connection with the Pilates Reformer, leading her to obtain her certification as a Pilates mat instructor in 2019, and on apparatus in 2022 through Ann McMillan Pilates.

Currently a kinesiology student at UQAM, Lorena is further specializing in the development of body awareness, posture, balance, and strength. Her approach is centered around motivation and support, aiming to achieve goals effectively and sustainably. Anabel Gagnon

Since graduating in 2021, she has completed several post-graduate osteopathic courses on subjects ranging from women's health to fascial chain treatment. Méhérine Afshari

A sportswoman since childhood through horse-riding and ballet, it was after suffering from scoliosis that I discovered Pilates. Interested in well-being and understanding the body in relation to the mind, I developed a passion for this discipline.

After a few years of practice, it was when I moved to Montreal 2 years ago that I decided to make it my profession. I obtained my Pilates floor and accessory instructor certification from Ann McMillan Pilates in 2023. That's how I discovered the studio équilibre, its great atmosphere, its wonderful team and how I came to learn Barre fitness. A superb discipline, complementary to Pilates, in which I take great pleasure!

My aim now is to pass on my knowledge and help you develop your body awareness, strength and flexibility. Having different passions, I now find my balance through movement, travel and acting.

I studied Kinesiology (B.Sc) at the Université de Montréal (UdeM) and continued continued with a second B.Sc. in Nutrition (UdeM). The two fields complemented each other well. But when discovered pilates, I fell in love with this pilates, I fell in love with the technique technique: a fusion of advanced biomechanics with an in-depth knowledge of the human body, a psychological psychological component, all combined with with a precision and fluidity approaching art. So it's been been working in this field for over 12 working in this field. I hold a certification in both floor and apparatus pilates equipment, in addition to a Master's degree in Kinesiology completed in 2014, with a focus on pilates. pilates.Translated with DeepL.com (free version)

Anne-Laure Marquet

A dietician-nutritionist specializing in sport and pediatrics since 2014, I chose to combine nutrition and sport, which for me are highly complementary fields.

That's why I became a sports coach in 2016 in Bordeaux, where I developed my fitness classes, while continuing my dietetic consultations in private practice. I then discovered Pilates in 2018, and decided to train to become a Pilates teacher for sports associations, Pilates studios and companies.

I then worked as a dietician-nutritionist and Pilates teacher at Médical Stadium, which is a sports and health center dedicated to all patients, whether or not they practice a sporting activity, whether amateur or professional.

Pilates is a health-sport tool that strengthens all the body's muscle groups, perfectly complementing other sporting disciplines.

As a sports enthusiast who runs, swims and surfs, I regularly combine Pilates with other sports as a wellness and health therapy for healthy aging.

In 2024, my husband and I decided to embark on a Canadian adventure and settle in Montreal, where I hope to continue my Pilates training and practice, while sharing my passions and my knowledge of nutrition.
